Освещены анатомо-физнологические особенности новорожденного ребенка, аномалии развития и заболевания детей в период новорожденности, методики обследования, выполнения важнейших медицинских манипуляций в этот период, особенности ухода и вскармливания. Приведены схемы реанимации и интенсивной терапии новорожденных при различной патологии. Даны рекомендации по организации экстренной помощи больным.
Справочник рассчитан на врачей-педиатров и акушеров-гинекологов. Может быть полезен врачам других специальностей.
