    Description

    Well worn and has a ding in the spout but overall the body is sound and dent free.  Shows age and patina and displays very nicely.  Likley dates anywhere between 1894 and 1950.
    Eagle manufacturing company was started in West Virginia in 1894 and made safety cans for gasoline and kerosene as well as oil cans an metal parts for kerosene lamps and lanterns.
    Eagle is still in business and is an exclusive manufacturer of gas cans made of both metal and plastic.
    Measures 9 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches in diameter at the base.
