VINTAGE BIRKS 10K GOLD VGH TRAINING NURSES 1939 PIN SET TOTAL WEIGHT 10.4 GRAMS

Vintage Birks 10 K yellow gold and red enamel VGH ( Vancouver General Hospital ) nurses training lapel pin set ..the large pin measures 1.13" across the top bar and it measures in length 1.12" from the top of the bar to the bottom of the medallion. The gold medallion with the red enameled cross measures .93" across. The smaller pin measures 0.58" by 0.42" it has a tiny red enamel cross and the date 1939 on the front. Both pins are hallmarked Birks 10 K on the back. The medallion is etched on the back with the nurses name in script A.B. Stalker and the date 1939. On the front of the medallion are the words Vancouver General Hospital Training School For Nurses. The only detriment is a small bend on the clasp bar on the smaller pin, it could be bent back with a tiny pair of pliers but I will leave that up to the buyer. Total weight of both together 10.4 grams.
