    Used, Vintage, Eagle Brand,
    Thumb-Operated Small Oiler, Patent Date: Feb 27, 1923 in Very Good Condition.
    This little oiler which is about 3" tall and 2" in diameter has been in storage for years and was part of a small collection. It is in remarkable condition for its age with no significant imperfections. These oilers were manufactured by the Eagle Glass and Manufacturing Company of Wellsburg, West Virginia. The company was established on January 1, 1894. By 1921, Eagle's metal department had become larger than its glass department. The metal plant would go on to become the largest manufacturer of metal oil cans in the United States during the 1920's. These little oilers are real gems for a collection.
