    Description
This is a genuine United States postage stamp issued in the 1990's to commemorate the Post World War II Baby Boom. The stamp is printed on both sides and is in mint, never hinged, post office fresh condition. The design is based on the artwork, "Maternity Ward" by Constantin Alajalov, which was featured on the November 2, 1946 cover of The Saturday Evening Post magazine. (The magazine cover shown in the third scan above is not included!) The stamp is suitable for a collector of 1940's memorabilia or it could be used as a novel way to announce the arrival of a new baby. FREE clear plastic protective display holder which allows for viewing both sides of the stamp is included! Purchase two stamps and a double display holder which allows for viewing both sides of the stamp at the same time will be sent instead. Shipping discount offered on multiple lots, so please view my other listings.
