This block is made to rest your AR in the vice for cleaning or small
maintenance. If you are looking to
torque a castle nut on a rifle or anything like that
this is not the right vice block.
Review:
It did the job for tightening the castle nut on AR. Tips for those of you that have limited mechanical skills and break the block and then leave negative feedback. (1) Do not overtighten the vice. The block is plastic and the vice is metal. Even a solid plastic block will deform if overtightened. (2) The block is for vertical support of AR. You still have to hold the pistol grip while torquing castle nut.
