    Description

    ARTIFACT: This is a numbered 1953 registered maternity nurse pin from New Zealand. The pin came to us along with two other pins (they are listed at the bottom of this page). This pin and one of the others are engraved on reverse with the same name: E. J. Hobson.
    VINTAGE: Circa 1953.
    SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in diameter.
    MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass, enamel.
    ATTACHMENT: Horizontal British kick (Y) pin with tongue-style C catch.
    MARKINGS: 1953 E. J. HOBSON 9531.
